Separate the leaf spring packs.

You will need some C-clamps or similar tools to do this. Clamp the spring near the centering bolt. Once secure, remove the centering bolt. After the centering bolt has been removed, you can release the clamps from the leaf spring. Don't worry, the leafs won't fly apart like shrapnel.
IMPORTANT: Once separated, do not rearrange the leafs. They will need to be reassembled in the exact order and position in which they were removed.
